We live on 40 acres, with many more acres that we do not own surrounding us. We have nine dogs-yes, that's right, nine- that live with us. Some of these dogs are house dogs, the others are allowed to roam as they will. We give them love, food, parasite treatment, and shelter. In exchange, they give us innumerable hours of entertainment, as well as some serious occasions for deep thought. Following are some stories from the past about these dogs and their predecessors, and some current life as it occurs. I hope you find them as fascinating as we do.
